Ronciglione Carnival: where to stay
Casale Fedele is a B&B 500 metres from the centre of Ronciglione. You walk to the Carnival and leave the car in the car park, inside the gate.

The 2027 dates
The Pro Loco publishes the programme on the official Carnival website. The Corsi di Gala, the parades, are usually held on the three Sundays before Shrove Tuesday.

Why stay at the Casale
The centre 500 metres away
You walk to the Carnival, without taking the car.
Your car inside the gate
Parking is free, inside the grounds: the car stays there for your whole stay.
Suites with a kitchen
Each has its own entrance, kitchen, bathroom, heating and 4 beds. Come back whenever you like, even when the party is over.
Up to 12 people
With all three suites, a group of friends, or two or three families, sleep under one roof.
What the Ronciglione Carnival is like
This is how it went in 2026, according to the Pro Loco programme. Days and times for 2027 will be known when the programme comes out.
- The Corso di Gala Sundays
- The parade of masks, allegorical floats, masked groups and bands. Before it, the Hussars ride past on horseback. In 2026 these three Sundays were the only paid days: €10 a person, free for under-18s with an adult.
- Giovedì grasso (Thursday)
- Re Carnevale, the Carnival King, receives the keys to the town, then comes the children’s Carnival.
- Nasi Rossi Monday
- Ronciglione’s own mask: a white nightshirt, a nightcap and rigatoni with meat sauce, offered from a chamber pot.
- Shrove Tuesday
- In the evening Re Carnevale dies: there is a torchlit procession, then his papier-mâché figure flies away hanging from a hot-air balloon.
